On April 10, 2025, Mayor Cui Yongguo of the Tumen Municipal People’s Government led a delegation to visit Jiahe JuNeng’s pilot test base and the Weifang project site. During the inspection, Mayor Cui and his team gained an in‑depth understanding of the project’s construction progress and technological innovations, and held a disscussion with Chairman Jiang Chaoxing to explore ways to deepen cooperation. In a friendly atmosphere, both sides reached consensus and formally signed an Investment Cooperation Agreement for the Waste Plastic Chemical Recycling Project, marking a new milestone in their strategic partnership.
During the site tour, Mayor Cui commended Jiahe JuNeng’s achievements in chemical recycling technology and the significant progress made to date. He noted that breakthroughs in this field are crucial to alleviating plastic pollution and realizing sustainable resource utilization, and affirmed that Jiahe JuNeng has already established itself as an industry frontrunner.
At the round‑table discussion, the parties exchanged views on project implementation, policy support, and industrial collaboration. Mayor Cui pledged that the Tumen municipal government will provide full support for the project’s construction and development, offering streamlined administrative approvals and robust resource guarantees to ensure the initiative moves swiftly from groundbreaking to full production, thereby driving the region’s green economic transformation.
Chairman Jiang Chaoxing praised Tumen’s strategic location in the Northeast Asia economic zone, excellent transportation links, and investor‑friendly policies, all of which create highly favorable conditions for enterprise growth. He stated that Jiahe JuNeng will leverage this cooperation to accelerate the application of its advanced technologies in Tumen and to develop a flagship circular economy project that contributes to the city’s sustainable development.
The signing ceremony was attended by Li Songzhe, Director of the Tumen Municipal People’s Congress Project Office; Qi Liang, Director of the Tumen Municipal Project Center; Shao Huilin, Chairman of Jilin Huisheng Investment Control Co., Ltd.; Yang Liguo, General Manager of Jilin Qingrun Investment Development Co., Ltd.; Zhang Qinglei, President of the Bank of China Tumen Branch; alongside Jiahe JuNeng’s Executive Vice President Gao Yunda, Vice President Chang Mingguang, Engineering Director Gao Dewei, and Yuan Hongtao, Chairman of Weifang Guolian Jiahe New Materials Co., Ltd.—all of whom jointly witnessed this important moment.
This collaboration signifies a deep alignment between Jiahe JuNeng and the city of Tumen in the environmental protection sector. The launch of the waste plastic chemical recycling project not only addresses plastic waste pollution but also creates new economic growth drivers through resource recovery. As the project advances, it is expected to catalyze the coordinated development of upstream and downstream industries, generate new employment opportunities, and help Tumen achieve a significant leap forward on its green development path.
